Core checks

StyleGuard’s core scans, reports, and fixes run locally in Figma. Core design data is not sent to StyleGuard, OpenAI, or Paddle.

AI actions

When you explicitly run an AI action, StyleGuard sends only the data needed for that action to the StyleGuard service: either a structural/style summary of the current page or selected visible text strings. The service forwards this data to OpenAI for processing with request storage disabled. StyleGuard does not intentionally store AI inputs or AI outputs.

For subscription users, the plugin sends the license key needed to validate access. For a free trial, it sends a Figma user identifier that the service hashes solely to count the three free AI actions. This is not used for analytics or advertising.

Subscription records

Paddle processes payments as Merchant of Record. StyleGuard stores the Paddle subscription ID, customer ID, selected plan, subscription status, license key, and, when provided in a Paddle webhook, purchase email. These records are used only to provision, validate, and recover licenses.

No analytics

StyleGuard does not use product analytics, advertising trackers, or telemetry. The service may keep minimal operational error logs necessary to diagnose outages and abuse; those logs do not intentionally contain design data or API keys.
